Natalie Tierney

Natalie Tierney established Capital Review Group in July 2016 to provide specialist compliance consultancy services for various pieces of legislation and regulations within the education sector in Australia.

Natalie has been in various compliance and policy roles during her career, with a focus on international education compliance. Natalie has extensive knowledge of the ESOS Framework, and the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.

Natalie began her career in international education compliance within the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (now Department of Home Affairs). Natalie processed student visa applications and then moved to the Student Integrity team where she was responsible for cancelling the visas of students where there was a breach of visa conditions. Natalie then worked within a number of universities, including Edith Cowan University and the Australian National University, where she was responsible for managing the university’s international compliance and the development of internal processes to ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Natalie’s previous experience provides a unique asset to her clients, as she can provide guidance on the providers’ day-to-day operational processes to ensure it meets all of the relevant legislative requirements.
