Face to Face Training

Capital Review Group’s Understanding the ESOS Act 2000 and National Code 2018 Workshops have been very popular within the sector. Typically provided in-house, CRG also offers these workshops to the public in most capital cities. 

Our Face to Face training allows participants to ask questions, discuss issues, learn from other participants by sharing collective experiences. 

Online Learning

CRG has developed a range of online training courses in addition to our Face to Face courses. These courses will be delivered via our specifically designed online training platform.

Our online training has been developed to:

• reduce the significant costs in staff absences, travel and accommodation for our clients when attending Face to Face courses;
• target skills and fill any gaps in knowledge that participants may have;
• offer flexible delivery that allows participants to manage the time taken to complete courses;
• cost less than our Face to Face courses, although participants lose the benefits of attending a Face to Face course as indicated on the left; and
• offer our clients an avenue to undertake a refresher course when required.

Customised Training

CRG can customise any of our training sessions to suit your institution. This customisation can be made for Face to Face training or via Zoom. We will tailor the training for your institution to ensure we focus on the issues that matter most to you. 

Delivered at a client’s institution or via Zoom, our customised training is constructed to meet your specific needs. 

Some of our training products include:

• Understanding the ESOS Act and the National Code 2018

This presentation will be tailored for your institution and will be conducted as a workshop. This training will include an overview of the ESOS Framework, tips on CRICOS registration of courses and your obligations around international students studying at your institution.

• Understanding the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021

This presentation will be tailored for your institution and will be conducted as a workshop. This training will include an overview of the HES Framework, and an in-depth review of your obligations under the Threshold Standards. 

• Understanding PRISMS & Student Course Variations (SCVs)

This presentation provides training to your staff on reporting Student Course Variations in PRISMS as well as which reports should be run for your Organisation. This training is integral if you or your staff are struggling with reporting requirements.

• Understanding the ELICOS Standards 2018

This presentation provides training to your staff on the ELICOS Standards 2018 as well as how it fits into the ESOS Framework and other legislative requirements. 

• Understanding the Legislative Compliance Requirements in Education in Australia

This presentation provides an overview of the specific legislative compliance requirements for your sector. This session is individually tailored for Schools, ELICOS, VET, Higher Education or Dual Providers requiring an overview and understanding of their legal responsibilities in both domestic and international education.

• Understanding the ESOS Obligations for International Students Under the Age of 18

This presentation provides training to your staff on the ESOS obligations that relate to international students under the age of 18. This session features questions for discussion and practical case studies to reinforce understanding.

• Understanding the Foundation Program Standards 2021

This presentation provides training to your staff on the Foundation Program Standards 2019 as well as how it fits into the ESOS Framework and other legislative requirements.
