This seminar, run by Natalie Tierney, will provide a clear and practical overview of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021 and your institution’s obligations under each domain.
Understanding the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021 will cover:

The structure and intent of the HES Framework and its Threshold Standards;

Key domains including Governance and Accountability, Learning Environment, and Student Participation and Attainment;

TEQSA expectations and common compliance challenges; and
-
How to demonstrate compliance through institutional policies, processes and evidence.
This seminar will provide context to the Framework, highlight good practice examples, and include opportunities for discussion and Q&A.
It is targeted at staff working in Governance, Academic Leadership, Quality Assurance and Compliance within Higher Education providers.
Morning tea and refreshments will be provided.
All attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance to demonstrate their ongoing professional development in higher education compliance.
